About this investor

Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) is the infrastructure manager acquired by BlackRock on 1 October 2024. Five selected links cover Gatwick, Edinburgh Airport, Peel Ports, SGN and the shared Aligned Data Centers acquisition. [1][2][3][4][5][6]

These are selected investments, rather than a complete portfolio or legal parent register. A fund, its investors, an acquisition vehicle and the manager's own corporate ownership can be different relationships. Each card retains the date and individual or collective stake definition. Edinburgh's 49.99% is a GIP-managed investor interest. Peel Ports' 30% is a joint APG/GIP vehicle. Those collective percentages are not assigned to GIP or BlackRock as verified corporate balance-sheet holdings. [1][3][4]

Each card names the entity invested in. Linked companies and brands can sit below that entity. Stakes use the source’s definition and date; disclosures are selected and do not give a complete portfolio or investor register. Read the investor methodology.

  • BlackRock ownership of GIP

The completed acquisition concerned the manager. It did not give BlackRock direct 100% ownership of every asset held in GIP-managed funds. [1]

  • Calisen

Calisen is now in the EQT/GIC structure, with EQT entry recorded in 2025. GIP was among the sellers; older GIP portfolio lists are superseded. [7][8]
